Biography
Mary Hosty is a writer and teacher. She lives and works in Dublin. She is married with two teenage sons and when she's not writing or teaching, she likes to cook and entertain friends, do crosswords, garden, read, swim, golf and walk. Apart from people watching, her favourite spectator sport is rugby. She likes music of all sorts from Robbie Williams to Mozart, art and fashion. She enjoys travel and would love to visit more luxury hotels and afford more beauty treatments.
She grew up in London, Dublin, Meath and the West of Ireland and this has influenced her writing.
She would love to own a house by the sea, direct a movie and meet Johnny Depp. (Perhaps some or all of these could be combined!!)
She is currently working on her fourth novel - DANGEROUS LESSONS - in which a young artist who cleans houses for a living is mistaken for a famous Hollywood actress.
